Ziferblat opens in Coventry

Ziferblat is a new community/co-working space in Coventry that I think sounds like a great idea. It has already soft-opened but is officially launching this week with a Grand Launch Party on Wednesday (January 22).

The concept is simple. At Ziferblat you don’t pay for what you eat or drink – you pay for your time. So for 8p a minute (and cheaper from the second hour onwards) you have somewhere to work plus as much barista-prepared coffee and tea and complimentary snacks as you like. Sounds good to me!

The aim is create a new kind of co-working space for artists, students, freelancers, small business owners and everyone else in between.

The launch on Wednesday will include live music, a free raffle and a magic show, plus 20% off standard prices. And if you can’t make it, pop in anyway. I’ll be heading down at some point and I’ll let you know what it’s like very soon.
