Journalist, foodie, travel-lover, it’s no wonder I decided to start documenting some of the fabulous meals I’ve been privileged enough to try.
From simple meals at home, to fine fare tried in restaurants across the world, I love sharing some of the foodie experiences I’ve had.
When I’m not writing this, I’m writing the news. For 10 years it was covering anything from court cases to soldiers in Afghanistan, with a wonderful tenure with the Press Association for six of those, followed by a stint in the world of telecoms hunting for stories for Cable.co.uk.
Now I’m freelance with my fingers in all sorts of pies, from writing news to dabbling in PR, and plenty of food writing, from pieces on Mode.com to a monthly column in the fabulous Belle About Town and food features in places including The i.
In between that, there’s a lot of running, gym-going, playing with friends, spending time with the fabulous Mr Manning – star of many of these posts – and of course, a lot of food.
You won’t just find my words on this blog. Here are a few other places where people have been kind enough to publish what I’ve written, whether it’s about food, travel, blogging, or anything else life throws at me, as well as a few other things I’ve done, from radio interviews to judging awards.
The i – I wrote the ‘Food Matrix’ for The i, featuring all the latest food-related news, launches, new products etc.
Leamington Spa Food Festival – I made an appearance at the festival’s ‘fringe festival’ at Regent Court shopping centre, carrying out live Q&As with local chefs and restaurants.

Belle About Town – my inaugural foodie round-up for popular magazine website Belle About Town.

Feel Good You: I was featured in the Spring issue of Feel Good You in a piece all about apps and exercise – for me, it was how I used an app to train for the London Marathon in 2014.
