I mean, I can’t claim to be a massive rugby fan, but anything that inspires a new iteration of one of my favourite burgers gets my vote. You’ll be pleased to know you don’t have to be in Warwickshire to get your hands on one of the Chakalaka burger kits as they’re delivered nationwide.

Libertine’s DIY burger kits, like many others, were borne out of necessity during lockdown and are now a permanent fixture, bringing burger joy to people across the country.

The easy-to-assemble kits include Libertine’s signature award-winning patties made using their own blend of 50% Chuck, 30% Brisket and 20% Flank from grass-fed Aberdeenshire cattle which is then dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days. The kits also come with bottles of house-made sauces and cartoon greaseproof sheets to wrap your burgers in.

The Chakalaka kit includes four Libertine patties, homemade brioche buns, house-cured Biltong bacon, American cheese slices, secret recipe y include Libertine’s signature, award-winning patties, homemade biltong bacon and secret recipe Chakalaka sauce, American mustard, house pickles and Libertine’s S+P blend.
