The Seven Stars in Rugby introduces new Monthly Curry Night
July 29, 2021

In case you hadn’t noticed, there are changes galore over at the Seven Stars in Rugby. One of my fave locals, like most other pubs these guys have been hit hard by the past 18 months but they haven’t let it get them down. They’re determined to rise again and are making tonnes of changes to their lovely pub.

One of those is a new Monthly Curry Night on the first Thursday of every month, starting on 5th August. They will be serving up authentic Indian curry courtesy of an Indian catering company in Coventry. You’ll be able to get your chops round a fixed menu with a choice of meat or vegetarian, all to be ordered in advance.

You’ll have to pay in advance (£20 per person) which includes your first pint or glass of wine (from selected beer and wine) and you’ll get to make your choices two or three days before the event.

The Seven Stars has undergone a lovely revamp

That’s not all. They’re still doing pie and a pint with fabulous Pieminister pies served with mash, veg and gravy. You have two chances for pie and a pint – Wednesdays as well as Sundays. Keep your eye on their social media for details.

On other days, you can always try Graham’s own homemade scotch eggs that I’ve personally had a go at making and can confirm that it’s much harder than it looks! Check out the video here.

As well as some tasty food, you’ll find great beers and ales, a large wine and gin selection, a dog-friendly environment, lovely courtyard with brand new furniture and astroturf, and much more. This is a proper local pub and needs your support, so get down there 🙂
