You’ve probably heard by now but Coventry’s getting its very own Turtle Bay. While I’ll always be an advocate of seeking out independent places rather than resorting to chains, I’d also be the first to admit that they do have their place, and there’s no harm in visiting them every now and again. In my experience Turtle Bay is a lot of fun, with nice food and some banging cocktails, so if Coventry’s getting its own branch, that can only be a good thing.
Turtle Bay Coventry is due to open on August 27th but before then, the team are giving away the opportunity for five people to experience the restaurant before it opens to the public, with each of the winners getting a table for four at one of the opening events. Guy Clark, General Manager at Turtle Bay Coventry, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests into the venue once the doors are officially open from the 27th August. We’ve built a fantastic team who reflect the values of the business and can’t wait to show the city of Coventry how great the Turtle Bay experience can be!”
This is Turtle Bay’s first site in Coventry has created more than 60 new jobs in its recent recruitment drive. If you haven’t heard of it before, Turtle Bay serves up Caribbean-inspired food from jerk chicken to goat curry, as well as a tempting bottomless brunch offer.
Turtle Bay Coventry will open to the public on Friday 27th August and you’ll find it at Unit 9, Cathedral Lanes, Coventry CV1.
