Warwickshire’s very own ALSO Festival takes place next month, and alongside talks, ideas, music and entertainment, they’ve just announced a packed food programme that sounds AMAZING.
ALSO, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, takes place at Compton Verney from 14th-16th July, with 300 events and 14 stages set in the Capability Brown landscaped surroundings.
There will be everything from comedy to immersive experiences, talks, and family fun – plus fantastic food and drink.
They’ve just announced a brilliant programme that includes: a gyoza masterclass, knife sharpening classes, sushi-making and biscuit decorating, to name just a few.
There’s oyster tasting, tequila and whisky tasting sessions, wine and beer tasting as well as lunches and cookbook dinners. You can book on to a Balearic Dinner or try an Asado Experience, or just enjoy visiting the bars and street food stands. Find the full programme here.
On top of that, you can listen to talks from some of the UK’s best experts, authors and speakers, including Jeremey Deller, Jeffrey Boakye, Jess Phillips, Nimco Ali, Claudia Hammond, Professor Catherine Loveday among many others.
Comedy will include shows from Sara Pascoe, Celya Ab, Robin Ince, Alexis Dubus and Marcel Lucont, while bands and artists will include K.O.G, Love Itoya, Get the Water, Juliet Russell, Honey Moon, Le Boom, Later Youth.
