A Cornish food gallery

Following on from last week’s foray into gallery posts, I decided to treat you guys to some more foodie pics – this time from Cornwall.

Mr M and I, along with his sis’ and brother-in-law and some of our friends went down to spend a weekend camping at the Meadows Campsite in the Pentewan Valley near St Austell. As you can imagine, food played a fairly major part in it. There will be individual blog posts on one or two aspects of our weekend, but in the meantime, I thought I’d show you a few little highlights from our Cornish travels.

There’s food from the Polgooth Inn just down the road from The Meadows, and from the Rashleigh Arms in Charlestown. There’s the fabulous Kernow Forno at work making pizzas on our campsite, and visits to Lobbs Farm Shop at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, as well as our discovery of the fab Gloucester Services on the way home. Oh, and a few odds and ends we cooked ourselves.

    1. It was fab. The mackerel was incredibly fresh. Bit of chilli oil drizzled on top – mmmmmm!

  1. Cornwall is on my list of places to go in the UK, it always looks so pretty. Your food looks amazing, a lobster burger sounds interesting. And I think I may need to try a willy’s cider 😉 Thank you for joining in with the #WMBlogChat linky x
