The festive season is definitely underway in Coventry. It kicked off with the Christmas lights switch-on on Wednesday and now you’ve got a weekend of food and drink ahead of you courtesy of their #YuleLoveFood celebrations.
|From today (Thursday 21st) until Sunday 24th, you can take get your chops around treats from mulled wine and bratwurst to warm baked cooked at the Coventry Christmas Market in Broadgate. Don’t forget to pop into their cosy log cabin to warm up while you’re doing your shopping and see a range of different businesses showcasing their products.|
Yule Love Food is just the start of the festive fun in Cov – from November 30th to December 1st it’s followed by ‘Yule Love Shopping’ giving you the chance to pick up some Black Friday bargains, as well as a special giveaway.
And then on the weekends of December 6th to 8th and 20th to 22nd you can enjoy ‘Yule Love Music’ featuring live performances and DJ sets organised by Sandra Godley from BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire, as well as ‘Yule Love Family Fun’ on December 14th and 15th, included a lantern competition featuring local primary schools.
Throughout all of them, don’t forget to spot all 24 Christmas trees that Coventry BID has scattered through the city centre. Bring on the festive fun, I say!
