Two Warwickshire businesses have been recognised as some of the best in the world for reviews, after being named in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.
Both The Cross at Kenilworth and Jack’s Shack in Warwick have been recognised in the list, which puts them in the top 10% of restaurants worldwide according to the review site.
Kanika Soni, Chief Commercial Officer at Tripadvisor, said: “Congratulations to the 2022 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Winners.
“The Travellers’ Choice Awards recognise the best in tourism and hospitality, according to those who matter most: your guests. Ranking among the Travellers’ Choice winners is always tough — but never more so than this year as we emerge from the pandemic.
“Whether it’s using new technology, implementing safety measures, or hiring outstanding staff, I’m impressed by the steps you’ve taken to meet travellers’ new demands. You’ve adapted brilliantly in the face of adversity.”
It’s the third consecutive year that The Cross has achieved the accolade.
Adam Bennett, executive chef, said: “Like all restaurants we continue to face big challenges but to know that we are delivering great experiences to our guests and receiving awards such as this makes the determination worthwhile. It’s also a big credit to the team who continue to work incredibly hard to deliver the standards expected of a Michelin starred pub.”
Jack Linstead, co-owner of Jack’s Shack with Michelle Matthews, told Coventry Live: “We’re absolutely delighted with this award and feedback. We always want our customers to have the very best experience when they visit us.”
