We all know I love a Libertine, but it seems I’m not the only one, as the people over at Just Eat have shortlisted them as a West Midlands finalist in their Just Eat Restaurant Awards.

Being shortlisted in the awards, which aims to recognise the best businesses on the popular platform, means Libertine is in the running to scoop the title of ‘Best Takeaway in Britain’.

The shortlist, which also includes Pizza Pazzo in Nuneaton, has been chosen by a panel of independent judges and the winner of the West Midlands region will now be decided based on the original awards submission as well as a mixture of customer reviews, commercial factors and a visit by a mystery shopper.

Customer votes also play a part in the process, with voting closing on Sunday 18th December so if you want Libertine to win you’ve best head to

Libertine launched in 2017 and went on to become a staple on the street food scene. As well as still running touring the UK’s biggest festivals with its trucks, Libertine has restaurants in Leamington and Rugby and serves up just over 1,000 takeaway burgers each week as well as sending its burger kits across the country so people can enjoy them in their own homes.

The business celebrated its 5th birthday this year and has plans to open a third restaurant in the near future.

The winners of the competition will be announced on Tuesday 21st February 2023 at an awards ceremony in London.
