Flying Cows Burgers at Square, Dunchurch

They’re back again – one of my fave burger places flipping their wares at Square in Dunchurch. I haven’t yet made it to one of Square’s weekend pop-ups so I’m 100% going to this.

In case you haven’t heard of them, Flying Cows won Britain’s Best Street Food burger in 2017 and 2019 and were an ITV food and drink winner in 2020.

They’re at Square from noon on Saturday until 9.45pm and then noon till 6pm on Sunday. You can also get drinks there, coffee, cakes and all sorts of loveliness in their covered secret garden. Find more info and book here.

Burger night at the Chukka Bar at Onley Ground Equestrian Club

Onley Grounds is one of my fave discoveries of lockdown and they seem to be doing some cool looking events, including burger nights. You’ll be able to enjoy a selection of burgers from classic cheeseburgers to chicken burgers, with meat from Onley Grounds Butchers. There are vegetarian options too. To book a table call the office on 01788 817724.

Seasonal Markets Burger Fest, Birmingham

Okay, it’s not Coventry and Warwickshire but it’s too good not to include. I’ve been to one of Seasonal Markets’ events before and they really are good. Burger Fest promises to be epic – the line-up includes people like Patty Freaks, Original Patty Men, Andy Low’N’Slow, Libertine Burger, Flying Cows, and many many more. There are other traders offering sides, desserts and hot drinks in case you get all burger’d out and of course you can get your chops round cocktails, beer and soft drinks.

The tickets are only £5 through Design My Night and it’s in only in Digbeth, a short hop and a jump from New Street station. More details are here.

The Bond Company, 180-182 Fazeley St, Birmingham B5 5SE.
