Afternoon Tea with Father Christmas

Families can make magical memories with Father Christmas and enjoy a festive afternoon tea on Sundays in December in the atmospheric Tales of Tea restaurant located in the Undercroft of St Mary’s Guildhall. Before enjoying your delicious treats on your day of visiting explore St Mary’s Guildhall and discover dazzling decorations, twinkling trees and festive flourishes. 

Please note spaces are limited and your ticket includes 1 sweet afternoon tea per person and daytime standard entry on the day to St Mary’s Guildhall. Please note last entrance to St Mary’s Guildhall is 3pm so you may wish to visit prior to your afternoon tea. 

Please note all adults and children tickets include a set of sweet festive afternoon tea with a hot beverage (a cold drink alternative is also available for children). Any additional drinks or items will be chargeable.

All attending guests must have purchased a ticket in advance and please also advise of any dietary requirements at time of booking.

Advance booking is required, walk-ups will not be permitted on the day. Tickets are non-refundable.

Please note this event is suitable for children aged 5 – 12. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must also have purchased a ticket for afternoon tea. A child’s ticket for this event includes a small token gift from Father Christmas.  Adult tickets do not include a gift.

Please note groups larger than 4 may be seated across multiple tables, subject to availability.
