Ever fancied trying your hand at foraging? This might be just what you need. At this session in Baginton, near Coventry, you’ll learn all about the edible autumn mushrooms and plants that you can find on your doorstep. The Foraging Course Company will teach you how to identify some commonly growing foods to forage for and where to look for them.
The course includes: an overview of foraging laws and safety; introduction to some edible species; how to tell edible species apart from poisonous lookalikes; recipe ideas and some ‘wild food treats’ including soups, pestos, pickles and preserves.
