I’m not a massive fan of Valentine’s Day and would never normally produce a Valentine’s food and drink guide. I’d normally rather have spontaneous date nights throughout the year without waiting for one over-priced day driven by marketing ploys and cynical commercial departments.
That said, 2021 isn’t a normal year and I think all of us need to take whatever love, pleasure, joy and happiness wherever we can get it. And if that means seizing on February 14th and all the Valentine’s tomfoolery that surrounds it, then I’m okay with that.
With that in mind, I’ve put together your very own Valentine’s food and drink guide for Coventry and Warwickshire, complete with everything from edible gifts and pourable presents to some of the meals you can order to create a romantic evening at home.
Like the Coventy and Warwickshire Lockdown Food and Drink Guide, I’ll update this guide as I go along but hopefully it’ll have some ideas that will not only brighten up your day (maybe month) and also help support some of our wonderful food and drink businesses across the county.
And remember, date night doesn’t just have to be on one day of the year. if you’re over Coventry way and looking for some ideas, check out my blog for Visit Coventry on some of the ways you can celebrate date night with help from Coventry food and drink businesses.
