You may remember this post from lockdown #1. I thought it had been relegated to the history books, but apparently we need it again. Given that the government has ordered another national lockdown from November 4, I’ve resurrected my list of as many places as I could find that are offering delivery, drive-thru, click and collect and all the other stuff we learned to love earlier this year, and to make sure you can support local food and drink businesses as safely as possible.
I’ll keep adding to it as I find more and please please please do support them. They need you more than ever.
Libertine have launched a DIY at home kit so you can recreate their loveliness in your own home. They’re already available to order so grab one now.
Revel will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9-2 during lockdown for all your bread and cake desires. You can also get their bread and cinnamon buns from Malt Kiln Farm Shop, Manor Farm in Catthorpe, Onley Grounds and Lanes Deli and Fine Foods. On top of that, Revelroo is delivering Revel bread as well as other foodies every Saturday.
These guys do great Caribbean food, offering everything from jerk chicken to curry goat and patties. They’re doing two for one on Wednesdays on all curries and jerk dinners. You can find them on Facebook and they do delivery too.
Cafe Vin Cinq
Cafe Vin Cinq are doing a range of lockdown services, from gift vouchers to hampers with free delivery. Their catering company CVC Kitchen is fully operational, offering gifts and hampers as well as buffet catering, grazing tables, executive lunches and more – all delivered to your home or office with contactless drop-off.
They aren’t doing a takeaway service but you can order private dining at-home meals for special occasions, including custom-made cakes and bespoke menus. Contact them for details.
Treacles in Rugby town centre are doing takeaway, including all-day brunch, afternoon tea and all-day goodies like jacket potatoes, sandwiches and homemade pastries from Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 3pm. Olivias are open from 9.30am to 2pm for takeaways and will also be doing deliveries too. Check out their social media.
Tea at Rainbows
Tea at Rainbows in Bilton are doing takeaway afternoon tea in and around Rugby. Whether it’s a special occasion or you just love afternoon tea, it’s a nice little treat brought to you right there in your own home. Visit their website, email email@example.com or call 01788 816386.
Maia are doing a delivery service of their mega gelato. A whole range of flavours available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Order via Facebook messenger by 2pm on the day of delivery and you’ll get given a slot between 4pm and 6pm. You can order half litre or full litre tubs which will come in an insulated box with wafer disks, disposable cups and spoons.
Gloria & Lil’s
Gloria & Lil’s are back doing takeaway and delivery. They’re doing takeaway Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am-2pm with everything from coffee to flatbreads, bagels and cakes. They’re also doing deliveries of their treat boxes to your door across Rugby and Coventry starting on Friday. Order by 5pm Thursday for delivery on Friday. Check out their website for details.
The Bell, Hillmorton
These guys are going back to full-time takeaways. Keep an eye on their social media for details, but last time they did everything from Sunday roasts to breakfasts.
Craft Inn Rugby
Collect beer, cider, or wine from Craft Inn in Rugby. You can pre-order then collect. Check out their social media for details.
The Merchants is back doing drive thru. Order your favourite ales, lagers, cider and wines via Facebook or email on firstname.lastname@example.org and to arrange collection.
The Courthouse have started a delivery and collection service from Thursday to Saturday, with dishes including burgers, fish and chips and other classics as well as Sunday lunch. You can order online via http://thecourthouse.foodorders.co.uk or call them on 01788 540466.
On the Deck – The Horsebox Pizzeria at the Fighting Cocks
The Horsebox Pizzeria will continue doing pizzas outside the Fighting Cocks every Friday from 5pm to 8pm. You pre-order your pizzas and the time you want them by messaging or calling 07950 372975. Easy peasy.
Rugby Real Bread

Vintage Gelato will be doing takeaways as well as call and collect. They’re also doing delivery up to 6 miles radius.
The Railway Club
The Railway Club is doing takeaway meals for collection throughout lockdown. The menu includes things like soups, beef stew, chicken curry, sausage and mash, fish pie and even desserts. Check out their Facebook page for info.
La Casa Loco
Casa Loco is bringing back its takeaway/collection service and is also considering bringing back its popular fajita kits. They’ve got their very own app – just type Casa Loco and it will appear.
Dosa Village are doing lockdown deals – 50% off takeaway and 25% off delivery for minimum orders of £20. The offer’s actually valid until November 31st so take advantage.
Inside the 22
Inside the 22 is doing coffee and other goodies to take away. They’ve got a special app you can use to pre-order too.
Granny’s Pies, Sandwiches & Buffet
Granny’s in Bilton offered lockdown services last time and is continuing this time too. Last time they did fresh and traditionally baked bread and cakes as well as an essential veggie box and a feeling fruity box. They’re got a new website coming so check their Facebook page for more details here.
Gallachers of Rugby
Gallachers are doing delivery for all your wine needs. I’ve tried it and it’s great. Even if you don’t know specifically what you want, they’ll pick something out for you to fit your price range. Square are open for takeaway, offering your caffeine and cake fix from 9am to 2pm every day. Go and support them so we can all enjoy their street food pop-ups when they’re allowed to open again.
Sweet Retreat do online ordering and local delivery and Royal Mail shipping on all your favourite sweets and treats. I have tried one of their sweet bags and it is MEGA. Check out their website at www.sweetretreatshop.co.uk

Clifton Cafe is opening every day during lockdown from 9am to 4pm for takeaways and deliveries via Uber Eats.
Greek Zante Street
Rugby’s own Greek takeaway is doing deliveries and collections so you can get your Greek street food fix. And a kebab too. of course.
Baked by Binky
I have literally just discovered Baked by Binky and her creations look fab. From brownies to brownie stacks – it’s enough to keep you happy during lockdown. Check out her social media. She’s based in Rugby but will post to other locations.
Manor Farm Shop & Farmhouse Kitchen, Catthorpe

Malt Kiln Farm Shop, Stretton-under-Fosse
Malt Kiln Farm Shop will still be open, and Rebecca’s Kitchen is also switching to takeaway during lockdown, including afternoon tea, coffee and cake and Sunday roasts.
The Lost Farm, Grandborough
The Lost Farm do a delivery service of their rare breed meats. They’ve got some great deals on joints of meat, boxes etc. I got some goat from them and it was brilliant. Check out their social media or website.
I bought some of these for my mum’s birthday and have it on good authority that they are BRILLIANT. You can order online and they are doing the occasional socially-distanced pop-up stand.
Onley Grounds Farm Shop
Onley Grounds become a bit of a regular haunt for me last lockdown. Their meat is great but you can also get bread, milk, eggs, veg and they make their own ready meals and scotch eggs. They also do local delivery and some great meat boxes. Visit their social media and website for more details.
Brownsover Fish Bar

For Goodness Cake
For all your cake creations and lockdown treats, check out For Goodness Cake. They do fab cakes but are also doing weekend lockdown treats including custard cream and party ring rocky road, biscoff millionaires, billionaire brownies and milkyway, Mars and Magic Stars rocky road. The Royal Oak, Brandon
The Royal Oak in Brandon is back with takeaway offerings, serving food all day. You can order via JustEat, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 02476 542304. These guys are always working SO hard so go and check them out.
Pumpkins Deli, Brinklow
Pumpkins are open for takeaway as usual. Check out their social media for details. They do brunches, lunches, coffee, cakes and all sorts of loveliness.
The Bull’s Head, Brinklow
The Bull’s Head is doing takeaways on Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 9pm. You can choose from pub classics like burgers, pies, fish and chips etc as well as pizzas. They even do a sharer box. Check out their social media.
Pickle and Pie at 23, Crick
Pickle & Pie are starting a lockdown delivery service of afternoon teas, platter boxes and goodies fresh from their deli. They’re taking bookings for deliveries for Crick, surrounding villages, Rugby and Daventry. Call or message to book then you’ll be given an allocated slot for your area on that day. The Blacksmiths Arms, Ryton-on-Dunsmore
The Blacksmiths Arms are doing takeaways for collection or delivery. I haven’t eaten there yet but it’s 100% on my list. They do great-sounding burgers and smokehouse meats. The Red Lion, Kilsby
The Red Lion have launched a new takeaway menu with lots of great pub food, from fish and chips, ribs and wings, lasagne and burgers. They also do a kids menu and a Sunday menu. Visit their Facebook page for details.

The Red Lion are doing takeaways including Fish & Chip Friday. Pre-order by calling them on 01926 632715 and check out their social media for details.
Hilltop Farm, Hunningham
Hilltop Farm will remain open seven days a week, selling essentials including a butchery, fruit and veg, a cheese counter and deli and pantry stuff too. You can use their online shop, visit in person, or send an email with your list for them to pick it for you. They also offer contactless click and collect from the car park or home delivery locally.
They’re also doing takeaways including teas, coffees, homemade cakes and sandwiches, breakfasts some days, and pizza Friday and Sunday lunch on Sundays. Plus all sorts of other events like bonfire food takeaway and a drive-through hog roast. Check out their socials.
The Smoking Pig
If bacon is your thing, you might want to look The Smoking Pig. They do artisan bacon, including a classic oak smoked version, black treacle ‘Morning Molasses’ and ‘The Kicker’, laced with chilli and garlic. They do delivery to Rugby too.
If you want a lovely fine dining meal, try Antona at Home from the man behind The Cross at Kenilworth and Simpsons in Birmingham. I’ve tried this and it’s brilliant. Check out the website for more details.
Harringtons on the Hill
Harringtons are doing takeaways every week through lockdown on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting on November 13th. Check out their social media for more details.
Forrest Coffee House
These guys have literally just opened and are already going down a storm. They do coffee, freshly baked pastries, as well as books, cards, fried flowers and more. They’ve got a one-way system in place and all the Covid-secure precautions.

Warwick Street Kitchen
Warwick Street Kitchen have started doing takeaways again, including the epic tapas box I tried in the last lockdown, as well as coffee and cakes. Keep an eye on their social media for details and sign up to their mailing list. They’re also doing celebration cakes made to order if you’ve got a special occasion to mark.
Casa Valle’s deli is still open and they’re also doing a click and collect and ‘deli-veroo’ service from Monday, including everything from mac’n’cheese to luxury food hampers, doughnuts and more. Check out their social media for details.
Ben’s Meat & Heat Emporium
You can stock up on biltong and other South African foods, as well as chilli products, from Ben’s Meat & Heat Emporium. Their lockdown hours are just Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.

Jephson Gardens Riverside Glasshouse
This opened just before lockdown was announced but apparently will be doing takeaway street food so go and check it out.
The Little Cocktail Bar
I’ve had my eyes on these guys for a while now and have it on good authority that their cocktails in a box are brilliant. They’re doing a load of special boxes to get you through lockdown 2.0 offering all sorts of tipples to treat yourself. They do Warwickshire home delivery and national delivery via post, so we can all enjoy them. Check out their website here.
Rustic Food Co.
Rustic Food delivers freshly-prepared lunches to Leamington, Warwick, Radford Semele and Kenilworth. They do everything from lunchboxes to picnic baskets. Send them a message and they’ll sort you out.
Regency Fish in Leamington have got some top quality Cornish fish and will stay open through lockdown – they sell out quickly so apparently it’s better to pre-order. Take a look at their Instagram and I guarantee you’ll want to.
We Love Pizza
Artisan pizza restaurant We Love Pizza has not long opened but has hit the ground running despite lockdown. They’re offering free delivery when you spend over £15 (to listed postcodes) and click and collect via their new app with a 25% discount.
Special offers include new Rule of Six Package (six pizzas for £36) and Pizza and Prosecco (Starter to share, pizza each, Nutella and Strawberry pizza dessert and bottle of Prosecco for £35). They have also launched a loyalty scheme. Visit their website here.

Hart & Co
Hart & Co are offering a takeaway menu seven days a week, 14 hours a day. That includes some amazing looking brunches! They’ll be doing deliveries to Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth, Coventry, Stratford, Wellesbourne , Southam and all the villages in between. You’ll be able to order breakfast, takeout cocktails, lunch, dinner and other treats.
They’ve also teamed up with @thesocialhq_ and @emislittlebakery to allow you to order balloons as well as lovely brownies. Basically everything you need!
Prices Spices are doing weekend Indian food takeaways to Leamington and Warwick (CV32 and CV34 postcodes). The food arrives cool and you reheat it at home. Pre-order with them – they sell out quickly. I’ll be featuring this soon on the blog so watch this space!
Enchanted Tea Room
These guys have literally only just opened and were previously at The Barn Kitchen. They’re going to have to switch to takeaway so it’s likely we’ll see some lovely stuff from them – maybe with a song from a princess when you collect… Check out their socials for details.
Oscars at Home is back – three courses for £19.50 per person with all the prep work done so you only need to reheat it and serve. Easy peasy!
Aubrey Allen is still open for all your meat and produce needs. They have been doing meat boxes with a choice of delivery or collection and pop-up shops but they’ve paused for breath recently so keep an eye on their updates to see if they continue with them. I also hear they’re launching nationwide delivery of meat and cheese boxes so watch this space.
Steamhouse is doing a new festive menu for takeaway. Order through click and collect on GoodEats and try a whole load of tasty festive specials.
Lola Provisions are doing takeaway coffee from 8am-6pm Wednesday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm, as well as fresh bread and pastries from Mor Bakery on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, plus treats every day from Baked by Desa. They also do refillable wines and other wines. Hurrah!
The Pickled Crab
The Pickled Crab is offering fresh fish at both the shop in Warwick, as well as at The Farm just outside Stratford. You can also pick up takeaway buttermilk fried chicken and tacos from Wednesday to Saturday every week. Check the website for details, or message, or email email@example.com

Hilltop Farm Shop, Hunningham
Hilltop Farm cafe closed last time, but their farm shop stayed open and I imagine it may be the same this time. You can get fruit and veg and some lovely-looking ready meals from them. Check out their website here.

Fab chef Sophie Hyam is offering a whole range of treats for you to enjoy at home – from bespoke celebration meal packages and various themed takeaway deliveries. She also does a standard menu for delivery in Coventry, which includes pies, home comforts and other dishes.

The Green Dragon
The Green Dragon is doing pizza and fried chicken takeaways. Check out their Instagram stories, decide what you want and when you want it then call them on 02477 670498 or DM them on Instagram (not Facebook). You can then pay by card over the phone, cash on collection or bank transfer, then collect or wait for your delivery.
The Belgrade Theatre
The Belgrade may be closed, but its takeaway service is continuing. From 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, they’re serving a selection of hot and cold drinks, breakfast batches, sandwiches, cakes and more. Visit their website for details.

Earlsdon Supper Club
Through lockdown Earlsdon Supper Club is focusing on ESC At Home with some amazing menus coming out. Box options start at £25 and there are celebration boxes too – as well as the chance to order paired wines. Check out the website for details.

If you need to eat your feelings a bit like I have this week, then I reckon brownies look like the answer. Emily does all sorts of loveliness from blondies to brownies and more. Check her website for more info.
Esquires are open for takeaways and deliveries only from Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, and Saturday 10am-3pm. You can get all sorts of food and drinks, including afternoon tea for two and cookie boxes.

The New Horseshoe Bar & Grill
From Thursday November 5th, The New Horseshoe is doing takeaway and delivery via Just Eats.
The Cottage, Earlsdon
The Cottage is doing sunday roast take home kits. Choose from pink topside beef, confit chicken leg or butternut squash wellington, served with roast potatoes, leek, fine beans, cabbage, root veg, yorkshires and red wine gravy. Head to their website to place your order.

The Barn at Berryfields
The Barn at Berryfields are doing a takeaway menu including burgers, pizzas and puddings., as well as roasts. It’s available Friday and Saturday nights, with roasts on Sundays. Check out their website here.
Hickory’s are doing Hickory’s at Home – deliveries of their barbecue food, from wings to ribs to brisket and everything in between, including bottles of cocktails to serve six! Visit their website to order to bring barbecue, beers and fun to your home.
Dough and Brew
Pizza experts Dough & Brew are doing a great takeaway offering, from pizzas to cakes and treats, coffee and more. Watch their social media for all the latest.
The Art Kitchen
The art kitchen is offering takeaway Thai food daily from 5pm-10pm, with the phone lines opening at 4pm.
Rowley’s do free delivery for people within a 12-mile radius. Head to their website rowleysbutchers.com. They have set delivery days for different towns and include meat, bread eggs and more.
The Hatton Arms
The Hatton Arms is restarting its takeaway service which last time had everything from burgers to favourites as well as Sunday roasts. Check out their website here.

Jacks Shack did an amazing job of takeaway and delivery last lockdown and they’re back. They’re open Tuesday to Saturday 7.30am to 4pm for takeaway and delivery.
MOR Bakery & Kitchen
These guys survived lockdown number one, despite only opening a few days before, so I imagine they’ll survive number two. They are here for all your bread, cake and essentials needs. They’re also doing a bread-making starter kit. Head to their website for more info.
Salt is launching takeaway meals. £40 per head for local collection or delivery which quite frankly is a steal for amazing food. Paul Foster is also launching a virtual cookery school which should keep you busy if you’re looking for something to keep you occupied.
The Woodsman is doing an at home service that quite frankly looks brilliant. Full menus of game-focused food for £45 per person for a weekend box or £40 per person for a Sunday lunch box. Check out the website or call 01789 331 535 or email email@example.com.

The Farm, Snitterfield
The Farm’s farm shop, food hall, butchers, fishmonger, wine emporium, bakery and deli are all open as usual. The cafe Nourish is takeaway only from Thursday, November 5 serving coffee, breakfast, pizza, lunches and Sunday Roasts. Crombies at The Farm

Cook, Bake, Decorate, Lutterworth
Cook Bake Decorate are a cake and supplies shop based in Lutterworth but their home and where their business started is in Rugby. They’ve started listing their Christmas offerings, which includes everything from brownies, biscuits and cakes to Chocolate Reindeer, Christmas cupcakes, Santa’s shortbread, treat boxes and more. They’re all available throughout lockdown, and their books close on December 11th, with Christmas cake orders finishing on December 1st.
They’ve got limited availability with collections available up to 1pm on Christmas Eve and delivery available free on orders over £30 across Rugby and Lutterworth. You can find their website here and their Facebook page here.
