Shakespeare Distillery is inviting revellers to party at ‘Judith’s’, the former home of Shakespeare’s daughter this Christmas.
The independent artisan spirit producer opened their popular Judith’s School of Spirits at No 1 High Street in Stratford-upon-Avon town centre last October. It offers a range of experiences including Gin & Rum Tastings, Cocktail Masterclasses, or a mixture of both this Christmas.
Once home to Judith Shakespeare, daughter of William Shakespeare, No 1 High Street is
steeped in history, with a cellar that is believed to have been part of an early gaol known for a period from 1470 as The Cage.
Parties can be booked for up to 50 people and groups wanting to stage a do at the unique venue can even bring in their own catering, or book a meal afterwards in one of Stratford’s many restaurants.
Peter Monks, Director at Shakespeare Distillery, said: “We’re delighted to launch our Christmas parties at ‘Judiths School of Spirits’ which is an ideal town centre location to kick off your evening festivities!
“We’ll also happily recommend some fantastic local restaurants if revellers want to enjoy a meal afterwards!”
Shakespeare Distillery is also offering personalised miniatures of their Stratford Dry, Rhubarb, Judith’s Pink Gin, Mulberry Liqueur, Limoncello and Orangecello 5cl bottles, which are perfect as Christmas gifts, keepsakes, treats for special occasions, or corporate events, with the possibility of customising the front label and adding a bespoke message to the bottle.
