Gallachers are holding an open tasting afternoon to welcome Newbold Spirit. The Leamington-based company makes premium gins and rums with a combination of hand-sourced ingredients. From 1pm – 3pm you’ll get a chance to meet them and have a taste of some of their rums or gin.

If you’re a gin fan this is one for you. FarGo villages Independent Gin Festival showcases the best independent gin distillers. There will be cocktail masterclasses, info on how to nail the perfect G&T every time, good music, entertainment and street food. You’ll get your own glass to use while tasting all the delicious gins and a gin festival tasting guide. The event is being held in The Box at FarGo village so you’ll also be able to mooch round the independent shops while you’re there. Tickets range from early bird at £5 to on the day for £10. Tokens will be £2.50 each and will be available on the day to purchase; two tokens equates to a single measure of gin, garnish and mixer.
