Surf & Turf Masterclass at The White Swan, Shawell
The White Swan at Shawell is having another of its masterclasses – this time the theme’s Surf & Turf! Five couples will have the chance to learn everything from how to break down a whole lobster, then trying it with the tail yourself, as well as preparing a 6oz beef fillet steak with lobster salad, truffle & parmesan fries. Once you’ve done the hard work, you’ll sit down and enjoy your dishes as well as a complimentary dessert. You’ll also get a souvenir recipe booklet to take home. Okay so it’s technically Leicestershire I think, but the White Swan is so close to Rugby it may as well be Warwickshire. As well as serving gorgeous food, these guys also do masterclasses. In their final one of the year, you’ll get the chance to cook a Game Scotch Egg and a Wild Mushroom Risotto. The White Swan’s chefs show you how, and then you have a go yourself.
